Yep, you read that right. West Virginia’s own Bo Hollen and Ari Clark are headed to the 2022 Bassmaster Classic! After winning the Bassmaster Junior National Championship back in 2021 they were invited to be a part of the 2022 Classic Festivities!
The duo sealed up the 2021 Bassmaster Junior National Championship over in Huntingdon,Tennessee at the Carroll County 1000 acre recreational lake. They weighed in a two day total of 19 pounds, 11 ounces.
After Day 1 they found themselves 28th with only 4 fish that weighed 3 pounds, 8 ounces. They rallied back on Day 2 with a 16 pound, 3 ounce bag that included a big fish that was an 8 pounder. 
The duo received a $2,000 scholarship that they will split, an invitation to the Bassmaster Night of Champions and an opportunity to weigh on the biggest stage of professional bass fishing; The Bassmaster Classic.
All of this possible by starting on the grass roots level right here in West Virginia. Bass Nation of West Virginia provides an amazing youth trail throughout the state every year and gives Juniors and High Schoolers an opportunity to qualify for the Bassmaster Junior and High School National Championships.
Bo and Ari finished up 2nd in points last year just 9 points behind Austin Craze and Luke Stewart. Austin and Luke earlier in the year had already qualified for the Bassmaster Junior National Championship via winning the Open on Lake Cumberland!
That opened the spot for Bo and Ari to qualify into the National Championship which they later won and punched their ticket into competing in the Bassmaster All-American tournament that runs in conjunction with the Classic.
Bo and Ari are also set to attend the Bassmaster Night of Champions where all the 2022 Classic Competitors all come together for a dinner/banquet put on by Bassmaster. Along with that the WV duo is set to weigh-in on the Classic Stage after a day fishing on Lake Keowee!
