DockTalkWV Update: October 13th

For everyone keeping up with us here on DockTalkWV.com, I truly appreciate it! Throwing three or four pieces of content up for almost a month straight now. Numbers on the page are doing great and I only expect them to rise as we plan for another exciting month in October and further into November.

That being said most people know the opportunity I was given in Birmingham Alabama working for BASS LLC. Needless to say, getting ready for the move has been a lot of work and keeping up with 21 hours of college classes, 35-to-40-hour work weeks, putting on the last Marshall tournament, trying to find a place to live in Alabama plus keeping up with the website has been a juggle, to say the least.

I just wanted to give an update on what you will be seeing the next few weeks here on the site and where I’ll be with creating content for the next few weeks as I make the transition to Alabama. Obviously, I am going to back away from content as much as I have been doing the next week and probably the week after. Although I still want to get with the winner of BASS Nation of WV State Champion and do a recap of the event. There will be a little bit of stuff coming from that.

In the time that I am gone, I will be working on a results page for tournaments held in West Virginia. It will have all tournament results from some tournament organizations in 2022. Once we get that posted later this fall or this winter, I will update it for the 2021 season. So, if you own or run a tournament organization in West Virginia and want your results posted to DockTalkWV.com here is your opportunity! Reach out to me at: chase@docktalkwv.com or give me a message over Facebook to get it set up with me.

I am also working on a team ranking system as well, that will rank the best teams from around the state on certain trails, those trails will include: BASS Nation of WV, Marshall Bass Trail, WV Bass Federation, and the Great Outdoors Marine Open Series. Ideally, I would like to have this out in November but could be a little longer depending on how long it actually takes to log the information. Keep your eye out for it.

Finally, I will leave with this. All of the tournament coverage you have seen on the site this year has been done by me. But this site is available to anyone to post WV-related tournament coverage, WV-related fishing tips or reviews, and so on. If you run or own a tournament organization and you want somewhere to post articles, photos, videos, results, and schedules this is your free avenue for it. If you just like sharing stories or tips for people to read this is your free avenue to have it published on a well-known website or social channel. Feel free to reach out to me if you are interested in posting to the site!

If you have any recommendations for the site and things you would like to see more of feel free to reach out to me! I love gathering ideas for more things to post!

We’ll see you very soon back with content each and every day!
