Matt Paynter and Cody Toler caught over 24 pounds on Bluestone Lake today en route to winning a benefit tournament held for Ralston and Misty Paynter. Misty has faced some recent health issues that has kept Ralston close by her side to care for her. The tournament was organized by Ralston’s brother, Gary who also fished within the tournament. Matt who is also Ralston’s brother won the event with his partner Cody Toler.
But 24 pounds was followed up by an 18 pound bag of smallmouth caught by Cecil Scott and George Ray who would finish up in second place.
Rounding out in third place was Brandon Fleenor and Lee Smith who caught an impressive 15 pounds of smallmouth.
